This Saturday is the perfect opportunity to join in on the Jubilee Gardens Tree Cozy Project.

THE TREE COZY PROJECT NEEDS YOUR VOTE:
The Tree Cozy Project has been shortlisted for The Jubilee Peoples Millions
Please ring 0871 626 88 32.
Calls cost 11p and you can ring up to 10 times from the same number.
The Tree Cozy project seeks to connect over 2000 people of all ages and backgrounds in the making of a vibrant piece of public art within Jubilee Gardens, Crewe. Older people will work with all ages of the community to deliver workshops in schools, community centres, residential older people’s homes, ethnic minority groups, and people with learning and physical disabilities, to create knitted tree sleeves, lamppost banners, and tree plaques.
The legacy of the project for future generations to enjoy will be a wrought iron archway, and railings, and the production of an animated film that will educate a younger audience about our environmental responsibilities. A grand Mad Hatters Tea Party will showcase the project and celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in style. The project aims to reach over 8000 local people.
